DR Series: With parts unloading capacities from 30 to 1200 litres

For mass deburring, deflashing, descaling, smoothing, radiusing and polishing of all components.

 

  • The Reversible Dam Type Vibro-Energy® Finishing Mill with semi or fully automatic parts / media separation and unloading for mass deburring, deflashing, descaling, smoothing and polishing of metal, ceramic, plastic and composite components.

  • New heavy duty pivoted dam unloader replaces previous hinged design to ensure no damage or trapping of components during unloading.

  • Direct drive dual amplitude Vibro-Energy® generator ensures superior work rate.
  • Large separation screen area ensures complete media retention within the work bowl.
  • Optional pneumatically operated base unloading doors are available to ensure quick and easy 100% emptying of the work bowl when self processing or external separation is required.
  • Mixing / contamination of parts between process batches is therefore eliminated.
  • Unloading is initiated upon simple reversal of the vibratory action.
  • Hard wearing cast polyurethane lining with ribbed upper section and unloading dam.
  • Vulcanised multi-ply rubber linings are also available.
     


      

 • The semi torroidal horizontal work bowl prevents impingement and ensures damage-free processing.

      Maintaining the high powered Vibro-Energy® action the DR series of machines incorporate parts / media separation and unloading without reduction in working volume and without the addition of ‘humps’ or ‘ramps’ which can impair process efficiency and damage delicate components. 

Where mesh type unloading is inappropriate the DR series is suitable for use with magnetic unloaders.

  • Undersize media ejection is also available.

  • Boulton’s Vibro-Energy® generator evenly distributes the 3 dimensional vibratory and gyratory forces to the work bowl - effectively producing a high efficiency superior tumbling action resulting in shorter process times and greater work rates.  Heavy duty roller bearings with external grease points or optional auto-lube systems will guarantee many years of maintenance free operation.  
  •   A full range of  standard and inverse separation screens are available manufactured from wear resistant polyurethane, polypropylene or stainless steel.  

  • The Boulton name has become synonymous with reliable, long lasting, high performance equipment.  All Boulton machines are manufactured from heavy gauge steel plate, suitably reinforced and stress relieved after continuous welding to prevent failure.
