Traditional heavy duty standard units for manual loading and unloading
- It's high efficiency, low operating costs and ease of maintenance have been abundantly proved in such processes as descaling, deburring, smoothing, polishing and burnishing, at outputs which are larger and faster than those obtainable with barrelling and other vibratory techniques.
- Materials which can be processed range from precious metals to heavy castings or light pressings, in all metals and alloys including steel, brass, aluminium and mazak, also plastics and ceramics.
- Boulton Vibro-Energy Machines are available in 6 sizes, ranging in capacity from 1 cu.ft / 28 litres to 40 cu.ft / 1133 litres. They are available in manually operated, semi-automated, or fully automated versions.
- The machines are available as one piece all-urethane bowls up to 10 cu.ft / 283 litres size, or heavy duty steel fabricated bowls lined with moulded Adiprene super strength urethane or multi-ply vulcanised rubber across the complete range.
- A full range of ancillary equipment is also available such as liquid compound dosing units, fluid recirculation systems, settlement tanks, acoustic hoods and enclosures etc.
- The machines are designed for use with all types of natural or pre-formed ceramic and "resin" media or "chips". Most processes are wet, employing water with the appropriate liquid, paste or powder compound. Dry processing is possible for light deburring or polishing but media options are limited.
- Models FM-3, FM-5 and FM-10 are available with optional increased power/centrifugal force for use with steel media. Self-processing without media is possible in all models taking care not to exceed the maximum
work mass weights shown above.
- Finished components can be safely removed from the machines by hand or the
work mass discharged via the unloading door. Where integral parts/media separation is required see our "DR Series" range. A complete range of media and compounds is available for all processes.
